Wendy talks about how the CSA works to support people living with spondyloarthritis in Canada and what programs and events are in store for the organization in 2021. Wendy also provides highlights from a recent CSA webinar on COVID-19 vaccines for people with spondyloarthritis and shares a number of helpful patient resources.

Wendy Gerhart is the Executive Director of the Canadian Spondylitis Association and has been working with the organization since March 2017. Prior to her current role with the CSA, she spent 26 years in the pharmaceutical industry working in market access and stakeholder engagement in several therapeutic areas including chronic inflammatory conditions. She is passionate in raising awareness of spondyloarthritic conditions and a strong advocate committed to reducing the time to diagnosis and ensuring Canadians have access to the treatments and services needed to improve personal health outcomes and reduce unnecessary burden on the healthcare system.
