In this episode of Arthritis At Home, we are sharing the #CRArthritis interview Arthritis Broadcast Network conducted with Dr. Lihi Eder on psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and COVID-19 risk factors in rheumatic conditions and diseases. Dr. Eder also discusses about a research opportunity titled “Dietary Interventions in Psoriatic Arthritis (DIPSA) Study”.
Dr. Eder is the Co-Director of the Cardio-Rheumatology Program at the Women’s College Hospital and Research Director of the Canadian Rheumatology Ultrasound Society. Her research focus is on understanding the risk factors for developing arthritis among patients with psoriasis. Dr. Eder is focused on identifying methods via imaging and genetic tests or looking at biomarkers to improve early detection of psoriatic arthritis. She is also interested in understanding cardiovascular diseases in patients with rheumatic conditions and diseases.
