Arthritis At Home Episode 84 – Osteoporosis: Who is at risk & interdisciplinary care in osteoporosis management

In this #CRArthritis interview, Dr. Laëtitia Michou discusses the topic of osteoporosis. Dr. Michou explains what osteoporosis is, who is at risk of developing it and why interdisciplinary collaboration in the management of osteoporosis is so important. Dr. Michou also provides us with some highlights from her workshop session titled Complex Cases in Osteoporosis and provides lifestyle tips for people living with the disease. 

Dr. Michou is a clinical scientist and Associate Professor at the CHU de Québec at the Université Laval. Dr. Michou is the principal investigator of several academic research projects in the field of bone diseases. She supervises master and PhD students, as well as rheumatology and internal medicine residents. She is the author or coauthor of 69 scientific refereed articles and more than 130 oral or poster communications in scientific congresses.
