Arthritis At Home Episode 98 – Arthritis Models of Care in Ontario with Dr. Sahil Koppikar

In this episode of Arthritis At Home, we speak to Dr. Dr. Sahil Koppikar, MD FRCPC,  a rheumatologist at Women’s College Hospital and Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, who is also Chair, Norther Ontario Committee, of the Ontario Rheumatology Association.  Dr. Koppikar speaks about his leadership role in developing and implementing solutions to improve models of care in Northern Ontario by providing arthritis care that is patient-centred, equitable and accessible, including the effective use of virtual care and expansion of the role of arthritis professionals.

Dr. Koppikar is the Director of the Timmins Arthritis Clinic which delivers remote services in-person and virtually in a unique multidisciplinary model of care. His interests are in utilizing virtual care and digital tools to improve access and outcomes in remote and under-serviced populations.
