Arthritis At Home 116 – Early detection in rheumatic conditions and resources for arthritis patients
In this episode of Arthritis At Home, we are sharing the #CRArthritis interview with Dr. Shahin Jamal on the importance of early detection and treatment in rheumatic conditions and finding credible resources for arthritis patients.
Dr. Jamal is a rheumatologist and clinical epidemiologist at Vancouver General Hospital. She is Clinical Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia and site coordinator for the residency training in rheumatology at Vancouver General Hospital. She was involved in the early development and implementation of the Canadian Early Arthritis Cohort (CATCH) and is Director of Diamond Center Early Arthritis Program. Her interests include diagnosis and prognosis of early inflammatory arthritis, and timely assessment and access to care for patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
