Arthritis At Home Episode 122 – ACE Survey Report on Arthritis and Exercise
Physical activity and exercise are crucial for people with arthritis. It increases strength and flexibility, reduces joint pain, and helps combat fatigue. While the research literature tells us a lot about exercise, Arthritis Consumer Experts (ACE) wanted to hear directly from people with arthritis about their experience and to identify gaps in exercise education, programming, and monitoring and how health care providers and patient organizations can better support an arthritis patient’s exercise journey.
On today’s episode of Arthritis at Home, Kelly Lendvoy, ACE’s VP Communications and Public Affairs and Ellen Wang, Programs Coordinator, discuss the findings from the recently published ACE Survey Report on Arthritis and Exercise.
ACE extends its sincere thanks to the people who took time to participate in this important community-led research and to our community partners who helped promote the Survey.
