The eleventh episode of Arthritis At Home features Alison Hoens, Affiliate Knowledge Broker at Arthritis Research Canada, and Research, Education, and Practice Coordinator in the Department of Physiotherapy at Providence Health Care on recovery and telerehab after shoulder surgery with rheumatoid arthritis during #COVID19#WellnessWednesday

Alison has been a member of the Arthritis Patient Advisory Board of Arthritis Research Canada since 2013. Living with rheumatoid arthritis and autoimmune gastroparesis, she is a physical therapist and works as a Knowledge Broker in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. Additionally, she is a Research Associate of the Centre for Health Evaluation and Outcome Science. Alison is passionate about knowledge translation and patient engagement in healthcare research.
