Dr. Maziar Badii is a rheumatologist with over 20 years clinical experience. Dr. Badii completed his medical training and obtained a Master’s degree in Epidemiology from the University of British Columbia. Dr. Badii has clinical and research interest in diagnosis and treatment of degenerative and inflammatory conditions affecting the spine, shoulders, hips, and knees. He has received several competitive research grants and published several articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Dr. Badii is past president of the Northwest Rheumatism Society. He has been Director of MSK Health at the Occupational Health and Safety Agency for Healthcare (OHSAH) in BC, a provincial agency dedicated to the health care sector. He is the recipient of the 2022 Polaris Award for Innovation in Rheumatology.
